Switzerland narrowly beat Canada 2-1 to confirm top spot. Bosnia brushed aside Qatar 3-1 to confirm their place in the next round through third place best teams.

Haiti gave it their all vs Morocco and even had the lead twice but Morocco scored two late goals to win 4-2. Brazil comfortably beat Scotland 3-0, confirming their place in first and also confirming Scotland's elimination as they don’t qualify for 3rd place best teams.

The US were already confirmed to finish first while Turkiye was already confirmed to finish 4th so Turkiye’s 3-2 over the US didn’t affect the table. Australia and Paraguay drew 0-0. Both on 4 points Australia finished 2nd while Paraguay qualified as one of the best 3rd placed teams.

The Ivory Coast beat Curacao 2-0 to confirm 2nd place. Germany already clinched 1st but Ecuador needed a win. After a tight game Ecuador came on top 2-1 vs Germany to confirm their place as one of the best 3rd placed teams.

The Netherlands comfortably beat Tunisia 3-1 to secure 1st place while Japan and Sweden drew 1-1 both securing their places into the next round.

Belgium easily brushed aside New Zealand 5-1 to top their group. Egypt vs Iran was a tight game. Egypt was ok with a draw but Iran needed to win. At 1-1 Iran scored in the very last minute to win but their goal was disallowed by var and the game ended 1-1 knocking Iran out.

Something no one predicted, after a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia Cape Verde finished 2nd in the group. Uruguay had an embarrassing campaign and were knocked out as they lost 1-0 to Spain with their keeper Muslera making an error and even being subbed out at halftime.

Senegal won a whopping 5-0 against Iraq to confirm their place in the next round as one of the best 3rd placed teams. France beat Norway’s second team 4-1 with both teams already qualified before the game.

Argentina comfortably beat Jordan 3-1 with Messi scoring once again. Algeria vs Austria was a thrilling game. 2-2 in the final minutes, Algeria scored to make it 3-2. Funny enough, the winner would face Spain but if the teams drew Algeria would face Switzerland. 3 minutes later with the last kick of the game Austria equalized, confirming their place in 2nd but also confirming a match against Spain in the next round.

Portugal and Colombia drew 0-0 confirming Colombia to finish 1st meaning we unfortunately won’t get a potential Portugal vs Argentina quarterfinal. DR Congo needed a win to qualify as one of the best third place teams. They were losing 1-0 early vs Uzbekistan but came back in the second half to win 3-1 and confirm their place in the next round

England beat Panama 2-0 after two second half goals. Croatia beat Ghana 2-1 to clinch 2nd place. Despite the loss, Ghana still qualified for being one the best placed 3rd teams.
